Meet Amy Pratte Lankford, PT, MPT, MS
Amy Pratte Lankford is owner and founder of Partners in Therapy, LLC. She is a licensed physical therapist with over 30 years of experience. Amy graduated from Mansfield High School in 1985 before attending Texas A&M University in College Station where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Education in 1989 and Master of Science in Kinesiology in 1992. She attended physical therapy school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she received her Master of Physical Therapy in 1995.
Amy has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career and has experience in treating an array of conditions. She took her first position in an out-patient clinic treating orthopedic conditions, post surgical rehab, sports injuries, neurological conditions, Worker's compensation cases among others. Amy worked at Harris Southwest Hospital for several years in both the inpatient and out-patient rehab. She traveled locally and had assignments in a long-term acute care hospital (LTAC), multiple assited living facilities (ALF). Most recently she has been contracting with home health companies spending the majority of her time with a locally owned company in Mansfield.
Partners in Therapy was created to give therapists an opportunity to focus on quality of care without the push for productivity. The goal is to facilitate recovery to ease pain so clients can regain and restore function, improve movement, and improve overall health and quality of life.
